Watching My Grandson from 4,826 km Away - Curling Day In Canada

While I have many curling stories to tell from provincials to Scotties to Briers to Worlds, this most recent one has got to be my favourite in a long time.
My grandson, Smith (age 9), was in a bonspiel in Leduc, Alberta while I am in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. My daughter, Lara, found out the Rec Centre was live streaming this bonspiel so, not only was I able to go back and watch the games I missed but I also got to watch Live his last game. They lost their last game but ended up in third place and winning $20 each!! And Grandpa got to watch it all live and then he FaceTimed me afterwards to chat about the game.

So, while my wife and I have been to many places watching all kinds of curling events (and enjoying Brier Patches including a pool side Brier Patch in Vegas), I think this one had to be my all time favourite so far and I was able to view it from many kilometres away.
