Watching my son Brayden Snow and his team win the Prince Edward Island Provincial Under 18 Curling Championships for the first time at age 14.
It was an unbelievable weekend that seen him earn his first heart and what would have been his teams first National Championship.
Brayden and his team had won several u13 and u16 provincials but this was the first one that they would earn the right to represent their province.
Unfortunately the coming months would see what has changed the world. National Championship would be cancelled cancelled, and then rescheduled National Championships cancelled causing extreme disappointment for Brayden and his team.
Although disappointing, nothing will ever take away the memory of winning is first Provincial U18 and the opportunity to wear your Provincial jacket. And then again representing your Province at 14 in an Under 18 National Championship would have been an experience you just cannot get back.
