Our 22 year old son Noah, passed away while playing a men’s hockey game in 2018. It was a freak accident. When you lose a child, your world is shattered, and you look for distractions.
Curling started as a great distraction for us. We didn’t want to be out, so we would stay in our comfy clothes and watch curling for days on end.
What started as a welcome distraction, is now something we do together, whenever curling is on. It brings us a quiet comfort.
We have never been to a live tournament, but we are ready to venture out and do that, if we can!
