During the 2014 Olympics, I was in London, England at a convention involving international guests.
Whenever curling was on and I was free, I would gather a group of friends from all over the world and we would sit in the hotel bar watching curling. Most of them had never seen curling before. There were people from California, Illinois, Washington, Florida, New Zealand, Sweden, The Netherlands, England, and Scotland. Even the Scot was cheering for Canada!
Definitely odd hearing the game called by a UK crew rather than the familiar Canadian commentators but a wonderful experience to teach my friends all about the great game of curling.
