Well my curling story is the very first time I played it was at an Easter Bonspiel at the Dome Curling Club in Timmins circa 1990. I was dating an avid curler at the time who is now my husband ha ha and he asked me to curl with him and friends at this “fun” bonspiel. I knew nothing about curling and well it was a very fun weekend. I learned a bit more about the sport and won the bonspiel. Came home with a mountain bike and never played in my life. I thought it wasn’t so bad. Now 32 years later I am still loving the sport and managing a local club 🥌🥌🥌
