I have to admit that growing up I was never one to sit and watch curling. When I met my husband, he curled, then we had kids and my daughters have taken it up. (One more so than the other).
My favourite curling story was watching my daughter participate in the hit, draw, tap competition for Ontario’s youth who placed in the top 20. She had the opportunity to meet Rachel Homan in Cornwall and seeing her face light up while chatting to her was priceless.
She placed and qualified to participate in the hit, draw, tap that took place at the Briers in Kingston where we were able to watch the men’s final. This is my favourite curling story because it’s so amazing to watch your kids grow at something they love and build their skills and confidence. ❤️
