In the small city of Brooks, Alberta lives an 8 year old boy who tells anyone who will listen that when he grows up he is going to be a curling champion! When he was 6 years old he joined the local junior curling league on the urging of his grandparents who love the game. From the moment he stepped onto the ice he too fell in love with the sport. He invites the family who lives near by to come watch him and he begged his parents to have his birthday party at the rink. He did extra chores to buy The Curling Game for his Nintendo Switch. When he visits his grandparents in Calgary and curling is on the tv he sits and watches intently. For his 7th birthday his grandparents took him to the Scotties Tournament of Hearts at Winsport . He called his grandparents when he heard that the Women’s World Curling Championship is going to be in Calgary in 2026 and asked if he could go. He is saving his money to buy his first curling broom and he just got his first pair of Asham curling shoes. Everyone needs to remember the name of Brantley Marks for this young man is going to be a Curling Champion!
