My Richmond Hill CC team had lost out of the 2020 Goldline TCA on Monday.
That evening, I received a message from Art Lobel (Brier and Senior Canadian Champ). As co-captain (with wife Shirley) of the RHCC team, he asked if I could play for their club team in a Thornhill Bonspiel that weekend.
OH MY! Me? Art is calling me to curl for him? With other former world and Canadian champs on our team? YES PLEASE😃 So grateful.
