I have always drove by the local curling club in my hometown of Whitby, Ontario without ever going in. Having an interest in curling from my grandparents playing, to watching the Brier, Scotties and Olympics and all the great Canadians. My girlfriend started bartending at the club, so that gave me a great reason to go check it out. I was introduced to an unbelievable group of people who welcomed me with open arms, and a beer after. I played in a few bonspiels before joining for the couples league. Tons of bonspiels, great friends, and girlfriend becoming my fiancé, curling has been great to me!
