As a middle aged woman who dedicated her life to taking kids to soccer tournaments and dance recitals it was time to find something I liked to do. Who knew that it would launch me into signing up for tournaments that I enjoy playing in. This sport connects you to people from all over. Being from Richmond Hill and signing up for a Bonspiel in Lindsay where you meet wonderful people from Alliston sums up the impact that this sport has on women who are transitioning from motherhood and gracefully moving into a world of our own where we can discover what moves us. I can’t wait to continue and see where this sport takes me. Thank you curling for being that for me.
