I have watched curling since I was a teenager, over 40 yrs, with my dad, who has since passed for over 20 years now. My dad loved Russ Howard and I began to love curling because of Russ.
I had the opportunity of meeting Russ when he played on Team NB with James Gratton, who is a friend of my neighbour/friend.
Three of the team stayed at my neighbours’ house while on a curling bonspeil in Brockville, ON. Russ stayed with us at our house for the night. Meeting Russ was so wonderful and I know my Dad was looking down so excited that I got to meet him and have him stay at my house. Russ is absolutely wonderful. It was so awesome.
