At the closing dinner of the Business of Curling Symposium in Canmore in 2019, I joined my new friends from Alberta and sat down next to someone I didn’t know. After introductions and learning of all of her curling accomplishments, with all my Alberta friends chuckling, I realized that I was talking to Kelsey Rocque!! OMG! 2 TIME JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPION! My goofy fan boy emerged! Took a selfie! I was babbling like a goof 😃
And just like most every curler I’ve met, Kelsey was so kind, generous and fun.
