I’ve always loved watching curling. I would know all of the players names and any of the news surrounding their teams. I finally got to see the top teams in action at the Masters in Oakville in 2022, followed by going to the Brier in London in 2023. It was at the Brier that I was able to bring my grandmother to watch the draws live. She doesn’t have internet and therefore relies on me to let her know when curling will be on tv, what channel it will be on and what time. It was such a special moment being able to bring her to the Brier to watch it live. I was able to surprise her again by bringing her to the Masters in Guelph this past January and we are already looking forward to going to the Scottie’s next year in Mississauga!
