We live in Wetaskiwin, AB and my son, who was 7 years old got picked for a Junior Star to represent Team Koe at the 2016 Home Hardware Canada Canada of Curling at Brandon, on December 2. 
So on December 1, we drove to Saskatoon, SK and spend the night at the sister0in-laws. The next morning we woke up and had breakfast and then again we were on the road heading to Brandon, MB. When we arrived in Brandon we checked into our motel room then we had to rush and head to the Westman Place Curling so my son could get signed in.
He was very excited to represent Team Koe. When he was 5 years old the Camrose Curling Club had a camp going on so we took him there and he was too overwhelmed and didn’t want to participate because of his ADHD,OCD so Koe came to talk to him and he got him to throw his first rock.
Ever since then he started curling and we follow Team Koe around Alberta to watch him. Koe is his idol and would be honoured to represent and meet him at the 2022 Tim Hortons Brier. He is now 12 years old.
