My favourite curling story is from last year.

It was at the Red Solo Cup bonspiel in Viking.

My step dad entered a team.

It is comprised of myself, my husband and my step dads niece.

My step dad has been amazing and has accepted me as his own daughter. His family considers me family also. The niece that is curling with us calls me “Cuz”.

When my step dad was introducing us to his friends you could see the proud look on his face. He was so excited to have us curl with him. I will never forget that look.

We ended up winning that tournament.

It was a great family experience, one I will never forget!!
