In 2016 my friends and I had the opportunity to play against a Scotties Champion in the Canmore bonspiel. Although we put up a good fight we did not come out the winners.
Our skip that weekend was our friend Darla. We lost her unexpectedly this past year and miss her greatly. She was a fighter and a champion in our hearts. She loved curling, having a great time and was the kindest lady. I know she’s “Rocking it” in heaven in so many ways. Cheer to you Darla!!
