I am one of many Special Olympics Coaches that coach Curling on Manitoulin Island in Northern Ontario, February 2018, Little Current hosted the Northern Ontario Men’s Provincial Playdowns, one of our curling teams had went to National Games and they were invited to throw the first rock at the Playdowns, they got to do this in front of fans from Manitoulin Island that had never seen them play before. This was such a special weekend, they got to meet Tracy Fleury and watch Brad Jacobs, Tanner Horgan and Jordan Chandler play. They were fan favourites. Every event with Special Olympics is exciting and fulfilling and this always was one of my favourites.
