I was a volunteer at the 2010 Brier in Halifax! What a treat to see all the best curlers in person! I was impressed to see them especially when they were all dresses up in suits and ties! On the final day I didn’t have anything left to do so I was able to watch the game and much to my surprise… Brad Gushue walked right in front of me!!! I blurted out GUSHUE and he turned and looked at me but I couldn’t say a word, all I could do was give him a thumbs up! He must have thought I was a weird old lady and I was very upset with myself, If only I had gotten another chance I would have told him how proud I was of his team and that he has been my favourite curler since the very first time I saw him play (on TV} and his biggest (speechless} fan in Nova Scotia.
