My wife and I were doing a Europe trip in September 10th 2017. The curling nut that I am, I wanted to throw rocks in Norway and even more specifically throw rocks with Team Ulsrud! I even brought my own crutch and shoes and were lucky enough to throw rocks in Team Ulsrud’s home club! What an experience this was! I threw rocks right next to them and I was actually able to meet their team! Thomas was such an amazing curler and person. Their team was extremely welcoming to this crazy Canadian who just wanted to throw rocks in Norway! :). I even wore my “fun” pants too so I could fit into their themed pants that they were so widely known for! What a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget!
