The Roarin’ Game
Karin (nee-Bishop) Glimsdale
Growing up in the Bishop family I was always under the impression my grandfather Clint Bishop invented this Roarin’ Game. His pioneer spirit inspired the growth of rural curling in Alberta as detailed by my grandmother in 1969 (see attached). An abundance of character building and many valuable lessons have been learned thru the years. Often the next morning at the breakfast table Grandpa would give his opinion about the match and how we conducted ourselves, and 5 generations later we still replay our curling games with family the following day.
I often wonder how different my life would’ve been if the Bishop brother’s hadn’t taken up the “Roarin’ Game”!
