Our curling club, Fort Rouge, in Winnipeg celebrated its 100th anniversary 2 years ago.
In honour of the occasion we held a bonspiel that was filled with members and their families. I was never so proud as to play in the spiel with 2 of my granddaughters and my daughter and son-in-law. 3 generations together on the ice. It was an incredibly special few days. I have been a member of Fort Rouge since 1978, my daughter curled juniors there and still curls there today as well as handling the Juniors chair on the board and my granddaughter curls in the junior program there today while my other granddaughter curls in a junior program in Saskatoon.
