Growing up, we only had one television in our home and it only had 3 channel’s! My mom was not one for sports. However, whenever curling was on tv, we would have to watch it. It didn’t matter if we wanted to watch cartoons…she was watching “her” curling. She never played the sport; never stepped foot in a curling club but her only sport was curling (but only to watch it). My mom passed away 17 years ago when i was only 29 and one of my fondest memories of my mom and sports was her watching “her” curling! To this day, I still watch “her” curling on TV. This year, it would be great to watch it live!
